Awaretrain is ISO 27001 certified

What is ISO 27001?

ISO 27001 is an internationally known standard for information security. This standard describes how organisations can deal with securing the information they process. With an ISO 27001 certification organisations show that they meet all the requirements around information security. An ISO 27001 certification is not mandatory.

Why is Awaretrain ISO 27001 certified?

At Awaretrain we work with confidential data. Of course we want to prevent unauthorised access to these client-, employee- and company data or that these data are damaged or lost.

In order to guarantee the safety of this data and to limit the risks of information incidents and data breaches, we have implemented an information security policy and have our entire business operations ISO 27001 certified.

What does this mean for you?

Awaretrain is officially ISO 27001 certified since 16 November 2021. For this certification we have implemented carefully defined processes, procedures, measures and controls. Regular audits and reviews will take place to make sure that the information security policy is suitable, appropriate and effective. Opportunities for continuous improvement will be identified and implemented where necessary and meaningful.

Our ISO 27001 certification gives you clarity that the information security policy and the associated business processes of Awaretrain have been checked and approved by an independent organisation.

The certificate can be downloaded here. The corresponding declaration of applicability can be requested from Barry Rokven, our Security Officer, via b.rokven@awaretrain.com.
